Background:

Intro-
Ikki doesn’t normally go by his real name Itsuki, except with his step-father. He was born and raised in Osaka, Japan by his parents.

Grade School-
<sub>Ikki was always a very hyper kid, and as he got older, his parents became more concerned when they couldn’t get him to behave or sit still. He was also having difficulty in school. The teachers would call his parents saying they can’t get him to pay attention and he would always end up having to stand outside in the hallway. He was quickly diagnosed with A. D. D. and was given medicine to help him calm down. He hated taking them but was forced to anyways.

Besides that, his life went on, being your average kid and everything was fine until his 2nd year. His parents were gradually arguing more and more each day until his father finally snapped and left. It was traumatizing for him at such a young age. He begged his mom to make him come back, but there was nothing she could do. They later filed a divorce. That was the beginning of everything going downhill.

2 years later and his mother had met another man; a well known lawyer. His mother felt like Ikki needed a fatherly figure in his life, specially at a young age. She thought this would be fine. But, he didn’t like him the first time he met him, when he came to the house for dinner. The whole time he glared and kept his distance from the stranger. To his horror though, his mother married the man and Ikki was adopted by him. He kept his mother’s last name though.

Ikki hated living with him, but for his mother’s sake he put up with him, because his mom looked so happy. He did as he was told and didn’t bite back, until his mother passed away in a car accident. She wasn’t driving, but she was hit when crossing the street by a drunk driver. Ikki suffered from her loss a great deal. His mother was gone and his father was nowhere to be found; he was left to the care of his step-father that had full custody of him. Ikki was miserable at home, he never wanted to go home by the end of the school day. His step-father was controlling, cold, and strict after his mom passed away. He hated it. He hated him. He hated living with him. His step-father would get drunk at times and threaten to hit him because of the smallest things. If only there was a way out, but he couldn’t do anything, couldn’t go anywhere but that dreadful house. Even if his step-father was going through a tough time, Ikki didn’t care. He didn’t want anything to do with him in the first place. After all, that man would never replace his father.</sub>

Middle School-
<sub>Middle school was like fresh air for Ikki. He could stay out longer with friends and grew a back bone and fought back at his step-father. His first year was also when he met Jin; a very tall first year, with hair so red. Ikki was amazed by his height and drawn by that unapproachable air to him. He met Jin when he went to see a performance at an old bar. Jin and his band were playing and after the show was over Ikki didn’t hesitate to approach him. Something about him made Ikki want to do crazy things; he wanted to do everything that he shouldn’t.

Ikki soon found out Jin went to a different school than him, and that he was a year older, which really surprised him. After that, he never let him out his sight. He followed him everywhere he went, which didn’t sit well with Jin. He might have gotten an ear full once in awhile, but to him, Jin didn’t seem to mind all that much.

After Ikki met Jin, he stopped taking his pills, only because his step-father was strict about. He stopped coming home and hung out late in the night with his friends and of course, Jin. He got into drinking, and also piercings; much to his step-dad’s horror. He was close to being kicked out when he came home with new ear piercings. It would seem like Jin was a bad influence on him, when actually Ikki thought he was the best thing that ever happened.

In a short time Ikki and Jin became very close and by close, he shared his first time with him. Ikki was head over heels in love with him and he was sure Jin felt the same, even though Jin didn’t want to say it outright. He knew that Jin slept around, even if he didn’t like it, he didn’t want to ‘tie him down.’ In the end, he just had to remind the other of his feelings.

His first year went by with in breeze, but his second year felt like an eternity. While his step-father was at work and away from the house, Ikki thought it would be a cool idea if Jin came over to have sex. He had always wanted him to, but his step-father was always there. He was very unlucky that day though and his step-father walked in on them. He was enraged and chased Jin out of the room. He was blinded with fury and hit Ikki for the first time. His face and body was bruised afterwards, even if Jin had gotten him out of the house and someplace else. But Ikki didn’t care. He was actually happy. He finally saw the true face of that disgusting man.

After that, the beatings didn’t stop. He didn’t hold back his fists any longer. Half the time he took refuge at Jin’s apartment where his grandma nursed his wounds. Even though Ikki wanted to turn him in for child abuse, it was no use. His step-father had too many ties in the neighborhood that no one would believe him. Ikki even tried to get Jin to run away with him to some place faraway. Jin refused, mainly because of personal reasons.

Third year came and went and Jin was going to Tachikawa High, and all his other friends to different schools as well.</sub>

High School-
_{Ikki thought he would have to live with that horrible man for the rest of his school days. He was more than hurt that Jin was gone and wasn’t there anymore to hold him. Even if on the outside he was fine and that he would toughen it out, he felt trapped and lost. That was until he met his aunt and uncle that lived in the states. His aunt was his mother’s sister that she didn’t talk to anymore because of a big fight they had. He remembered his mom talking about her once when he was little. Ikki snooped around and tried to find some way to contact her, which he did. In a storage closet, he found old business emails his mother saved, and in them was his aunt’s.
He wasn’t sure it would work, but he was able to get in touch with her. He told her everything, how his step-father was beating him. And in time she flew out to Japan to meet him. His aunt apparently was quite wealthy with a business in the states. And after awhile she brought his step-father to court for child abuse. It was very hard. She hired a lawyer and they went into a full investigation and in the end his aunt won and he was handed over to her. She took Ikki and went back to the states where he went to school for a bit but then he wanted to come back to Japan. Back to where Jin was. So she enrolled him at Heiten High School, where the very hyper and hard to control Ikki could be taught well.}

_{Because of Ikki’s A.D.D, he gets distracted very easily. He could be talking to you about something and then suddenly trail off to something else, whether it was something he saw or thought of. He refuses to take his pills and says that he can control it, but he slips up sometimes. He’s also easily amused by everything and doesn’t hesitate to do something if it sounded fun. He gets into a quite a bit of trouble for that. He’s very smiley, and if something is wrong he usually hides it pretty well.}
